About the Role
We're hiring our first AI Automation Engineer to move ATTOM from ad-hoc AI experimentation to a structured, org-wide program that identifies, evaluates, and scales AI work responsibly. This role sits at the intersection of business operations and applied AI — you'll partner with department leaders across the business, understand how their teams work, and translate that understanding into AI-powered integrations that drive real, measurable productivity gains.
The strongest candidates will bring both sharp business instincts and the technical fluency to act on them — using AI and automation tools directly to eliminate friction, accelerate workflows, and unlock new capacity across the organization. You'll report directly to the Chief of Staff, sitting at the center of ATTOM's AI enablement operating model.

What you will do:
Partner with department leaders
Engage across Sales, Finance, Operations, Product, and People to develop a working understanding of how each function operates, their inputs, outputs, handoffs, and friction points. Use that understanding to identify where AI can integrate meaningfully within existing workflows.

Build Ai automation and automated workflows
Deploy AI-powered solutions — LLM workflows, document processing tools, internal assistants, and system integrations — using sanctioned platforms and in alignment with ATTOM's data classification policy.

Coordinate and evaluate cross-functional pilots
Run AI pilots across functions using ATTOM's prioritization framework, assessing each opportunity on value potential, implementation effort, and people impact. Maintain a consolidated view of what's in flight, surface what's working, and bring clear recommendations on what to scale, iterate, or stop.

Own the AI enablement roadmap
Maintain a prioritized pipeline of AI initiatives and communicate progress to leadership through clear, business metrics — time saved, costs reduced, throughput improved. Contribute to quarterly exec readouts on adoption, value, and risk.

Support AI literacy and adoption
Partner with the Chief People Officer to help the broader organization build confidence working alongside AI contributing to enablement programs, lunch-and-learns, and rollout efforts. Translate technical concepts into accessible language for all levels of the organization.

Contribute to AI governance and responsible deployment
Work alongside the CIO and coordinate with Legal, HR, and Security to ensure all AI tools and integrations are built responsibly in compliance with ATTOM's data classification policy, vendor approval process, and applicable regulatory requirements. Flag risks proactively; document what's been built and how it operates.

What success looks like:
First 90 days
  • Cross-functional use cases identified and prioritized, using ATTOM's scoring rubric across all functions
  • 1–2 AI tools successfully integrated; In production, with adoption and impact tracked
  • Monthly AI cohort check-ins running; Coordinating across functional leaders
  • First quarterly exec readout delivered; Adoption, value, risk, and H2 roadmap

What we’re looking for:
AI Integration & Technical Fluency
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI into real business workflows
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n, Retool, or similar).
  • Understanding of system integration concepts, connecting AI to enterprise applications and data flows to automate and accelerate work
  • Working knowledge of data sensitivity and security understands which data can and cannot flow through external AI platforms
  • Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or scripting (Python, etc.); proven record of building out agents
Business, Operations & Collaboration
  • 3+ years in business operations, strategy, consulting, or a cross-functional role — you understand how organizations actually work and where they break down
  • Strong analytical thinking: able to diagnose operational friction, identify automation opportunities, and translate them into prioritized, business-driven initiatives
  • Highly effective communicator — credible at the VP and C-suite level, and able to make complex concepts accessible at every level of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive adoption of new tools or ways of working across diverse functions and stakeholders
  • Comfortable coordinating across Legal, HR, IT, and Security to manage risk and ensure responsible implementation
  • Background in SaaS, data, or B2B technology companies strongly preferred
NICE TO HAVE
  • RAG or prompt engineering
  • Python or scripting
  • Real estate or property data domain knowledge
  • Change management experience
  • Microsoft 365/copilot ecosystem
  • Cloud platform familiarity
What we offer
  • Base Annual Salary $150,000-170,000 (Final salary offered may vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience)
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Flexible time off policy
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life and disability insurance

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 05/31/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
